"Good," I grinned. I cheered for Aria's strike. The music in the background was a pretty boring song at the moment.

"A-thankyou. A-thankyou," Aria said, bowing grandly. She glanced over at the baby, who layed on a blanket on the floor and played with a teething ring. Aria wondered if Ollie had noticed Novell there yet.

"Yeah," she muttered, blushing slightly. "Her name is Novell," she added while taking a seat on one of the old, uncomfortable leather chairs.

"She's cute," I grinned, crouching next to Novell. I brushed two fingers across her tiny cheek. "I always loved babies." I laughed quietly. "She looks like you,"

"None that I know of," I said truthfully. Somehow, I knew I could trust Aria. "My mom left when I was small and never got in touch again. She might've had 8 other kids and I'll never know." I smiled

She chuckled. "Lucky. At least you have the possibility of other siblings. But I have Novell.. She's all I need."

I smiled. "At least you have someone. That's the main thing, right?" I stood up and looked at Aria.

"Heh, that's right," Aria mumbled and looked up at him. "It's your turn, you know," she said, gesturing to the lane.

I smiled then laughed when she pointed it out. "Sorry," I picked up a ball from the ball return and walked to the line. I put the right fingers in the right holes, swung my arm back and then foward, sending the ball down the lane.

Aria bit her lips and tried to stifle her giggles. She saw several flaws in his technique but didn't say anything. She had a bad habit of critiquing everyone's bowling since she taught elementary schoolers before moving to Forks.

Surprisingly, the ball knocked down seven pins. I turned around and saw Aria's face. She looked like she wanted to laugh. I narrowed my eyes jokingly at her.

She shook her head, trying to clear it, and clapped politely. "Nice throw," she encouraged.

I laughed and clapped. "Nice sarcasm." I dropped down onto the uncomfortable bench and waited. "I think I'll just watch you bowl from now on."

Aria smiled. "Okay, but at least finish the frame! You still have to throw another ball," she bargained. "And I'm sure Novell would enjoy the company."

I sighed but laughed. "Fine," I got up and took another ball from the ball return, knocking the last three balls over with it. "I don't suck that bad." I laughed and sat down next to Novell.

Aria whipped around and looked at him. "No ever said you sucked," she scolded. "Have a little more faith, jeez!"

"Yeah, yeah," she grumbled. She stood up and walked up to the ball return. Then she grabbed her ball aand took her place, tossing the ball down the lane. It crashed into the pins and knocked all but one down. The last pin wobbled but eventually stopped, not falling over.

"Thanks," she replied, writing her score onto the sheet. "But I hate getting that last pin. It feels like a waste of time," she laughed.

I laughed. "A waste of time? Then why do you bother bowling in the first place?"

"So I can get good enough where I won't have to knock that last pin down," she told him with a smirk. "Plus, it brins back a lot of memories."

I laughed. Her logic made sense. I didn't want to ask about the memories, incase they weren't good ones.
