Curious (Alice)

[Becca Williams]

School had dragged slowly. After school, I'd been in my studio writing music with the piano and the guitar. Eventually, I got into my mint-green car and drove toward the Cullen house.
Halfway down the long, narrow lane, I started listening for movements or voices that would indicate that Alice had lied to me.

Wait, when did I get so paranoid??

I parked outside the huge white house, hopped out and half skippedto the door. I rang the doorbell and took a step back.

[Alice Cullen]

I'd been upstairs talking to Jasper when the doorbell rang. I smiled at him, then skipped down the stairs and opened the door. Jasper stayed upstairs, I'd explained everything but he didn't think we should be trusting people so soon. Though, I wasn't about to move from my judgement. "Hey." I said, smiling. Then, moved out of the way so she could come in.

[Becca Williams]

"Hey," I smiled back and wandered inside. I tried to stop it coming out so quickly, but I couldn't stop my curiosity. "Where's Jasper?" I asked, remembering the name clearly from our conversation.

[Alice Cullen]

"He's just upstairs." I answered, not sure if he was coming down or not.

[Becca Williams]

"Oh," I smiled, perching on the edge of one seat. "So, why did you ask me to come here?" I asked, killing the elephant in the room.

[Alice Cullen]

"Well, I - we - kinda need your help." I answered. "You see, we came back because of the...amount of mythical life here. Your...methods and the...effects of them are kinda drawing attention to Forks. If your not...careful then your going to be risking a visit from the volturi." I explained, occasionally trying to find the right words so I didn't offend her. Last thing we needed was another Enemy.

[Becca Williams]

I hissed quietly under my breath when Alice mentioned the Volturi. We -my sister and I- both hated the Volturi and vice versa. "So.. you need my help to.. change my methods or..?" I asked. I was usually quite quick -I thought- but I was confused as to what Alice wanted from me.

[Alice Cullen]

"I just need your help trying to get all or at least some of the creatures here to calm down a bit. I didn't think they'd listen to me on my own or Jasper, we need you to get as many as you can to think a little more before they feed. Otherwise a visit from The Volturi is inevitable." I explained, I could tell she didn't like the volturi by the way she hissed at their name.

[Becca Williams]

"Right.. 'Cause everyone listens to me." I said a little sarcastic. but then I smiled. "I'll help as much as I can." I said to Alice.

[Alice Cullen]

"Thank you. We will repay you, anything you want just ask." I said, smiling.

[Becca Williams]

I smiled and shook my head. "Nothing. After all, none of want a visit from the Volturi, right?" I looked around the white room. "I just want to know one thing.."
