I burst out laughing along with Zoe. "Show's over." I called, standing in front of the ball support and kicking it away, still laughing.

My laughter faded, and got slower and slower until it stopped. I picked up my next ball and threw it. I knocked over nine pins.
"You think I can get the last one?"

I laughed and aimed the ball at the remaining pin. I threw it and missed by a quarter inch. "Man!"

So close. I said and then stood up to take my shot. I grabbed a pink ball and threw it down the lane knocking over 7 pins.

I laughed and grabbed another ball. Knocking over the last few pins. Yay! I said, smiling.

We carried on this way until the end of our games. Laughing and joking. When our games were up, I turned to Zoe, "Let's go have a race in the store! In those wheelchair electric, granny-mobile things!!"

I laughed, taking Zoe's arm and heading out the door, thanking the attendant on the way out. I noticed the clock on the way. I got into my car, hopping back in over the door. I pulled out my phone and sent Beth a text telling her that Zoe was staying over my house tonight. After all, Beth needed sleep. Zoe and I didn't.

I walked into the bowling alley, after passing a flashy white car on it's way out. It was dead inside. There was literally one lane being taken up. I didn't feel like playing on my own, so I decided to introduce myself to the one girl here.
"Hey, I'm Ollie," I smiled, walking up to her.

Aria was in the middle of her backswing when the guy talked to her. She ended up losing her focus and throwing the ball right into the gutter. "Shit! Well that's depressing... First gutter all day," she said. "I'm Aria," she added, extending her hand to him.

I held up my hands as if in surrender. "oops." I lowered one hand and shook Aria's hand with the other. "Do you mind if I join you?"

Aria chuckled and gestured to the lane, saying, "Nah, I don't mind. As long as you don't talk in my backswing anymore." She smiled shyly.

I grinned and walked over to one of the red leather seats, gesturing locking my mouth.

Aria rolled her eyes and went back to the lane where her custom ball was waiting in the ball-return. She took her postition and glanced back at Ollie with a wary expression, making sure he wasn't going to talk. Then she looked down the lane and threw a power ball, knocking down all ten pins in a loud crash.

Aria turned around with a proud smirk on her face. But her smile turned into uncontrollable giggles when she looked at Ollie. "What are you doing," she gasped in between laughs.
