I grinned too and kept kissing him, getting more and more enthusiastic until the waitress let out a small cough, clearly meant to get out attention. I laughed, and pulled away from Lan, taking his hand and pulling him out. 'Just incase Matt's watching' was how I justfied it to myself.

When they were outside he grinned and gently pushed her against the car door, using the excuse of Matt looking up the road to kiss her with furious passion and enthusiasm.

Lan took me by surprise when we were outside, next to the car. I kissed him until I was breathless. Or the vampire equivalent to breathless.

He kept kissing her even when Matt was out of sight, at least until chief Swann coughed behind him and asked them to take it somewhere private rather than in the car park.

I stopped myself laughing when I stopped kissing Lan to look at the Chief. "Sorry, Chief Swan." I smiled. If I could blush, I would've. I opened my car door and slipped inside.

I ran deeper into the trees and straight up my favorite tree. I cried my tearless sobs over leaving Lan there. My brain couldn't handle it. I heard my phone ringing and took it out. I looked at the caller ID. Lan.
