He frowned and looked at Becca "More and more vampires are flockign here .. the Cullens .. well no doubt they are not long from returning, given the scents I'd say 5 more vampires are here ... the shifters will well start reappearing again soon and a war will break out, again .."

[Becca Williams]

"The shifters still have their treaty with the Cullens." I explained. "There were just a few who fell out with them. Did you know that three went with them?"

[Lan]

"three went with them? that can't be possible, they are designed to kill us as much as we have evolved to kill them!" he frowned again.

[Becca Williams]

"It's a very long story, and to be honest, it's not really fit for a classroom story." I laughed, pulling him through the door of our first class, ignoring the glare from the teacher.

[Lan]

He turned his head and snarled at Miss.Williams, quelling her into sitting down by forcing the hunters viel down, letting her feel how dangerous he was, vampires could do that as well and it had a better effect when they did it "Well Becca my love I think you should tell me" he said softly an dnoticed MAtt glaring at him and once more lowered the viel causing Matt to move back in hsi seat looking fearful.

[Becca Williams]

"I will," I promised. "when we're not in class."

[Lan]

He grimaced "Becca, please, the teacher isn't going to bother us" then he glared at the people on the back desk and they all moved so they had a table between them and the nearest people, he pulled Becca's seat out ready for her.

[Becca Williams]

I sat in the seat and twisted my fingers together. "The Cullens had a human girl with them. She'd fallen in love with one of them. She had a best friend who was a shifter." I watched my hands the whole time. "Well, I don't know the whole story, but in the end, she married the Cullen and they had a hybrid child. But the best friend... have you heard of imprinting?"

[Lan]

He nodded grimly "Yes .. before I came to this reality my sister, she had a shifter imprint on her when I was ten, he killed her by accident and I tore him apart for it ... making me the alst of my people .." then he took one of her hands as he sat down an dkissed her knuckles "Continue."

[Becca Williams]

"Well the human's best friend... ehm.. Jacob. That was his name. Jacob Black. He imprinted on the girl's baby." I continued. "The other shifters wanted to destroy the child, but Jacob tore off from the pack, making his own. Two more followed him and they became almost friends with the Cullens."

[Lan]

He gaped "Vampires and shifters coinciding? no that can't be possible!"

[Becca Williams]

"I didn't think so, either but the larger pack, the ones who wanted to destroy the child, started another war, a different time and the pack was largely decimated. Only a few survived." Great(!) Doom and gloom first thing in the morning.

[Lan]

He nodded gently "and now the genome is awakening inside the people ofLa Push again ... well that spells trouble .. Alice Cullen and Jasper have visited Forks already, I met them .. they're scouting .."

[Becca Williams]

"Scouting? For what?" I'd heard of Alice and Jasper in the stories. Somehow, Mr Black down at the Quileute Reservation seemed to sortof like me and so he told me the ledgends and the history of the Quileutes.

[Lan]

"they're planning to come back ... three monthes they said .. they are going to be the first to move back into that uge house beyond the edge of the woods .." he looked a little wary and then he kissed her. "Haha Ibet you're gonna end up leering at Alice the way she gives out hugs and all that" he teased.

[Becca Williams]

I laughed. "Yep, 'cause I'm so averse to hugs." I hugged Lan, accenting my sarcasm nicely. Everyone else in the class were terrified of Lan, so no one pain attention to us.

[Lan]

"Mm but your just as protective over me as I am of you, I saw how you glared at Jessy when she last hugged me" he said with a grin hugging her back and nippingthe flesh of her neck gently.

[Becca Williams]

I laughed. "True, but if Alice is just hugging you, then I'll be okay with that. After all, she's married." I laughed. "Bella!" I almost shouted. "That was the name of the girl"

[Lan]

He laughed softly "See it's when she jumps on her friend, I think you may throw a hissy fit then" he said teasingly and then touched her cheek with hsi hand before he turned and openly snarled at Matt, his hands crushing the edge of the table as the hunters viel lowered again making Matt soil himself "Opps" he sai dlooking at Becca again ..

[Becca Williams]

I laughed so hard that I had to be excused. The teacher couldn't teach with me in the room. I ran out and sprinted down the corridor. I stopped laughing, I was just glad to be out of class. To be fair, I'd had this lesson already twice this year.

[Lan]

He walked out of the class behind Becca, pushing the desk to pin the teacher against the wall,h efound her down the corridor an dsnuck up on her, putting his hands up the back of her top and undoing her bra beneath her shirt just to torment her "Hellloo there"

[Becca Williams]

I laughed and turned around, re-doing the clasp. I flicked his ear and kissed him once, before pulling away.

[Lan]

He kissed back laughing softly "So you found Matt shitting himself so funny you had to run out of the room? cause all his mates have started picking on him about it, I thought it was funny in an "opsie" kind of way."

[Becca Williams]

"Well," I laughed. "That wasn't the only reason for leaving."

[Lan]

"Oh?" he arched his eyebrow "what is the other reason then babe?"
