Tension

[Lan]

Both Lan and Ewan stood at the head of the beach waiting for Becca and Hayley, they had all agreed to meet here after the issue n europe.

Lan growled with impatience and worry and as a result got a glance from Ewan and only shook his head to say it didn't matter, he could still feel Beca off to the south but that was only an idea, the bond was never specific, one of it's many faults, he could feel al her emotions and it made him scowl as he sorted through them.

Ewan stood next to Lan, glancing at the man every time he growled with a wary caution, he refused to turn his back to any vampire or hybrid except Hayley, it was just in the nature of only being a new born ... he was still so wary.

Jessy stood with the two boys, she was less wary but she still stayed level with them, leaning on a sparse tree that had come forward from the forest and grown here all alone, she watched Lan warily believing him the more dangerous of the two.

[Becca Williams]

I walked with Hayley along the beach, pulling her along by her hand. We'd agreed to meet Lan and Ewan here. I'd been slightly worried about the sun, but it was well and truly hidden. There was a breeze across the shore and we walked along the sand, barely making footprints in the sand.

[Lan]

He smelled Becca's scent on the wind and wheeled, moving off towards her, meeting her hal fway "Hey." he said with a smile, all the worry vanishing from his features.

Ewan was slightly slower off the mark, he moved cautiously after Lan and stood near them, just saying simply "Hey" because things were still a little awkward with Hayley.

Jessy stood not far behind her brother, Ewan, she had changed him herself though he didn't know it ..

[Becca Williams]

I grinned and skipped foward a few steps, letting Hayley's hand go, and hugged Lan. "Hey,"

[Lan]

His arms locked around her waist as he kissed her, muttering "I missed you."

Ewan scowled at Lan an dBecca calmly before he moved to Heyley's side, taking th eplunge and curling his hand around hers.

Jessy just giggled slightly at how cute Becca and Lan were together and waved at Hayley.

[Becca Williams]

"I missed you too," I murmered into the kiss.

[Lan]

Lan kissed er again before looking at Jessy with an arched eyebrow and looking back at Becca whispering in her ear "It turns out Jessy is Ewan's sister though he has no clue and she turned him to save his life .."

[Becca Williams]

My eyes flickered to Jessy, then Ewan and back to Lan. "Thank you." I smiled.

[Lan]

Lan smiled softly "It's odd to think we accidently brought their family back together, did you know their mother is alive in Forks some where?"

[Becca Williams]

My eyes popped wide when Lan said that. "And they don't know who she is?" I guessed.

[Lan]

He shook his head softly "Nope, and Ewan has no idea who Jessy is cause she can't bring herself to tell him."

[Becca Williams]

"Does Jessy know that you're telling me this?" I asked.

[Lan]

He shrugged "She knows I won't keep it from you if that is what you mean babe."

[Becca Williams]

I smiled and nodded, wrapping one arm around his waist and leaning into his side.

[Lan]

He smiled down at Becca as Jessy walked up to them.

Jessy smiled at Becca an dwhispered "I take it he told you by the way you two spoke in hushed tones?"

[Becca Williams]

I smiled and nodded. "How come you don't want to tell him?"

[Lan]

Jessy shrugged "I'm not brave enough .. I took his chance at a normal life away from him .. just so I wouldn't have to lose him .."

[Becca Williams]

I remembered the words of Mr Black and I twisted my mouth to the side, thinking. "But if he knew, wouldn't that make it easier on him?"

[Lan]

Lan looked at Jessy then answered for her "Babe, theirs a major well, issue in that plan. Ewan is the sort of guy who wouldn't take being told suddenly very well, he needs to be comfortable to take that sort of news."

[Becca Williams]

"Ah." I knew something like that was coming, there was me, thinking I was smart..

[Lan]

Jessy nodded "That and I am scared to loose him, he is all that is left of my family and telling him, he might run from it..."

Lan nodded and stood silently, glancing at Ewan and Hayley who were chatting to each other, good that meant they were finally giving up the awkwardness.

[Hayley Williams]

Hayley released her hand and hugged Jessy. She didn't look at Ewan as she held her arm close. No one was gonna touch her with not even telling her what the hell was going on. Becca convinced me that it was a good idea of showing up but she started doubting Becca's words. She kept her mouth shut as she felt the tension in the air.

[Lan]

Jessy hugged Hayley back with a small smile then a giggle "Gonna leave poor Ewan stood there looking like he's been abandoned? and I was under the impression you had finally given up denying you like him!"

Lan looked at Jessy and chuckled "She's stubborn Jessy, she is not going to give up easily."

[Hayley Williams]

Hayley sighed. '' what do you want from me? '' I had a good life so far. you are only making it worse so what is it that i need to do before you finally leave me in the name of hell alone! '' Hayley rolled her eyes.

[Lan]

Lan sighed "Hayley, have it as you will then." he shook his head softly and glanced at Ewan.
