Work Sucks

[Tabia]

I sighed as I entered the diner for my first shift. I hated work, it sucked. But I needed to earn my own money some how. That was the only reason I didn't quit. I went straight into the kitchen, put my bags and stuff down and went back out. I hoped we would have slow buisness today, so I could just chill out.

[Beth Patterson]

I entered the diner for my shift for the day. I went straight out back, dumped my bag and my jacket, and walked back. Then, I saw a girl who hadn't seen before, let alone worked with. I walked over, smiling. "Hey, I'm Beth."

[Tabia]

I looked over and saw a girl I'd never seen before. Hey, I'm Tabitha. But most people call me Tabia. I said, not wanting to be rude.

[Beth Patterson]

I smiled. "Hey, you work here too?" I heard the door open behind me and I put one fot on a stool at the counter and pushed myself over the bar, landing on my feet, although my head hit the counter.

[Tabia]

Yeah. I'm new, just moved here. I told her.

[Beth Patterson]

I laughed before she spoke. "Well, welcome." I smiled.

[Tabia]

I laughed too, which was unlike me. This whole little town must have been getting to my head. Thanks I guess. I said.

[Beth Patterson]

I grinned. "So, you go to school here?"

[Tabia]

Yeah. I'm starting tommorow. I told her. I'm dreading it completely, I'm always the werido.

[Beth Patterson]

I smiled. "You don't seem like a weirdo." I watched as a few more people came in and joined the one who had now taken a seat at a booth. "You seem kinda cool."

[Tabia]

I shrugged. Thanks, but honestly thats not what most people think. I said, smiling. I was use being the weriedo anyway so it didn't really bother me any more. That was the reason I tended to keep myself to myself.

[Beth Patterson]

"Hey, you want to hang out with me tomorrow?" I asked.

[Tabia]

Sure. I said, smiling. She seemed like a nice girl, probably one the nicest people I'd ever met.

[Beth Patterson]

I grinned. "I'll meet you in the parking lot " One of the guys from the table came over and ordered six cheeseburgers and fries. I smiled. "I'll bring those right over. Any drinks?" The guy asked for four cokes and two sodas "Sure thing." I put the order in with the chef and took six cups from the stack. I poured the drinks, "I'll be the one next to the pretty blond one." I laughed. I balenced the filled cups on a tray and swerved the bar, towards the table.

[Tabia]

Ermm... Okay. I said, a little confused.

[Beth Patterson]

I laughed, seeing her confusion. "My sister." If she's in on time. I added mentally

[Tabia]

Ohh. I said, understanding now. God though seriously, I hate school.

[Beth Patterson]

"Well, normal people do." I grinned. "Don't worry. You're gonna fit in fine. And if you don't they'll have to face the Wrath of Beth!"

[Tabia]

I laughed. God, your the strangest person I've ever met. In a good way. I added at the end, so she wasn't offended.

[Becca Williams]

Once again, I walked into the diner with Lan. We were going food shopping after this meal. We'd forgotten for the past few days.

[Tabia]

I saw a couple of people enter the Diner. I sighed. I better go serve them, while Beth was doing that other order.

[Beth Patterson]

I smiled as I put the drinks in front of each customer then walked back with an empty tray. "It's pretty easy." I laughed.

[Tabia]

It's pretty boring. I said, smiling. I walked to the table were the 2 people had sat. What can I get you today? I asked.

[Lan]

Lan looked at the waitress "Ahh .. you're new working here then.. " he said softly "I'm Lan, this is Becca. I'll take .. 6 of everything on all the menus" he said with a grin.

Errr Okay and Yeah I'm new. I'm Tabia. I said.
