I smiled all through and then didn't say anything when she was done. She didn't believe me. Maybe she would when she saw the amount of hits on youtube...
I sorted the track for the Cheryl part. I mouthed Cheryl through the glass.

[Ivy]

I put up my thumb. It was just a bunch of 'Oh, woh Ohs' and singing the chorus again then I was done.

[Maci White]

I smiled at her when she was done. I flicked a switch and the recording room door opened. I stayed where I was, sitting in a desk chair. I turned off Ivy's mic and headphones. "Okay, let's see what we've got." I told her.

[Ivy]

I came out and crouched down beside her. I closed my eyes and bit my lip, reluctant to hear myself.

[Maci White]

I hit a few buttons and then play. First, I played them all together.

[Ivy]

I smiled, it actually didn't sound too bad, nothing like the orginal though. "I like it," I smiled. "But I think someone else should do the cheryl cause there's a bit too much of me all at once."

[Maci White]

I laughed. "Okay, you're getting the hang of making desicions now." I joked. I took out Ivy for the third part. I put Cheryl back, listening to see if that was better. It didn't have to be Cheryl, but what I meant was seeing if taking Ivy out was better.

[Ivy]

I laughed. "Yeah sounds better, what are your thoughts?" I asked professional like.

[Maci White]

"My thoughts are..." I smiled then sung; "I can't believe it, this beat is bangin'. " I giggled.

[Ivy]

I laughed. "This is like my favourite song!"

[Maci White]

"Good," I giggled. I stood up, pulling her into the next room. "Choose an outfit," I instructed, bending down to pull the white wand out of my boot. I waved it once and the closet doors opened and shelves and shelves of shoes pushed out. I closed the door and walked back through to the computer, pushing the wand into my boot as I walked.

[Ivy]

I looked around in a daze. It seemed so real, the recording, like I was famous. I chose skinny army jeans with holes in them, a red vest top with a yellow off the shoulder t-shirt over it. Some dark khaki boots with laces. (Bad description :S)

[Maci White]

I sat at the computer again. I made a copy of the song, so there were two. Then I messed around with one, making a surprise remix for Ivy. When i was done, it sounded great! Even if I do say so myself.

I walked out in my high heeled boots, hoping I'd be able to dance in them. "Taadaa!" I twirled.

"WHOO! Work it, girl!" I giggled, gesturing her foward.

I laughed walking over to her and taking the next seat.

[Maci White]

I hit play as soon as she was sitting down. The remixed version of Check it Out came on. I thought it was pretty cool.

I nodded my head to the beat "Mace, that's unreal!"

[Maci White]

"No no, no no. It's real." I joked. I left the song playing and wandered back into the room with the green screen. "Okay, now we need to decide what your video is going to be.

[Ivy]

"Well, have you got any ideas?" I grinned, because I had no clue about that.

[Maci White]

"Well, you've got a choice of three styles." I smiled with a notepad and pen in my hand. "You could have a live in session video, a video that is completely random or a video like this." I searched Alexandra Burke the silence on youtube. "Shots of you singing all mixed together."
